Jolly Das, a Graduate in Music from Rabindra Bharati University, Kolkata was an Indian Idol 2 Finalist. But being affected by chicken pox, she had to quit the show. This gave her an opportunity of being a part of Indian Idol 3 Finalist without any auditions. She has done graduation in music from Rabindra Bharati University in Kolkata. She is the first-generation singer from her family and idolizes Lata Mangeshkar and Asha Bhosle.
